I studied dance full time at college for 2 years and then I worked professionally, both in this country and abroad, for almost four years.
During that time, I decided I wanted to expand my knowledge and experience even further so following an additional period of study, I qualified as a dance teacher and I have been teaching at dance schools and for myself ever since.
I am an Examiner and Fellow Member of the Allied Dancing Association (FADA) in Ballet, Modern Stage and Tap and also an Associate member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (AISTD) and Member of the Theatre Dance Council International. I also spend a lot of my time as a Festival Adjudicator.
I pride myself on my inter-personal skills and take a genuine interest in my students – I take great joy in seeing them develop as dancers and as people too. I am fully Insured, DBS checked and trained in First Aid.
We expect our students to treat other members of the school, pupils and carers with courtesy and respect.
We ask that when representing the school or wearing our sweatshirts or tops, they show the school in a positive light – always.
